Drawing Classes (I  and II) will focus on  traditional techniques.  We’ll have an introduction and discuss goals and expectations.   Emphasis is on learning to see which we’ll reinforce through the use of journals and recordings.

Classes will cover  Materials and  Drawing Techniques; Line, Contour, Negative Space, Value, Proportion, Perspective, Composition, Landscapes and Portraits

Watercolor Classes  (III, IV and  V) will provide the basics for beginners and a focus on  painting  from your drawings for intermediate students.   Emphasis is on the wondrous personality of watercolor paints and simple  ways to complete several paintings in an outing.

Classes will cover Materials ~ Paper,  Paint Brushes , Alternatives and Accessories; Studio and En Plein Air Set-up,  Watercolor Techniques, Color and  Mixing, Landscape as a stage set and Framing.
